Paul Holland, Guitar/Vocals
Paul began playing guitar at age 10. Endlessly rehearsing in a Bloomington basement. Hendrix, Beatles, Zeppelin, and Kiss, were the inspiration in the fabulous 70's. Then came the Stevie Ray Vaughan era. Blues & Rock took charge. He formed a popular TC trio called 3 Below. 3 Below won a MN Music award, and played countless gigs throughout the midwest. 3 Belows CD "Adventurer Powered"  (1992) was a pungent package of blues rock, featuring Dave Doll on drums, and Rich Pearson on bass. The CD sold in the thousands then and continues to sell today. After that came Paul Holland and The Supafuzz, Randy Olejnicak/Drums, David Luvin/Bass. Together they offered up a CD playfully called "Pornomusic"  (1997) which was another wicked batch of guitarslinging. Paul has been fortunate to win a few acoustic & Electric guitar playing contests. And has recently honed his acoustic fingerpickin skills, doing gigs with his buddy and TC Blues Legend Moses Oakland.
David Thomas, Drums Dave provides the pulse behind the band. A TC music scene veteran of many years. His knowledge and touch is just the right spice for this BluesBrew.  Dave can also be seen in "Steeling Dan" a popular tribute to Steely Dan. And his prog rock band "Terramarra".
Neil Powell, Bass/Vocals Neil, aka: "The Low Frequency Deity"  Has been jammin with Paul for years. He is a graduate of the renowned music school North Texas State. He is featured on numerous recordings and has played with the likes of:  Mingo Fishtrap, Shane & the Wild Weasels, Kurt Jorgenson. To name a few. On his off nights, he can be found behind the soundboard down at Bunkers Music Saloon making everyone sound good.

The Paul Holland Band is one of  the Twin Cities most dynamic blues/rock bands. Consisting of Paul Holland, Lead guitar/Vocals, David Thomas, Drums, and Neil Powell, Bass. With a SRV/Jimi feel to the music, the band has been wowing audiences since 1996.Paul also helps organize, and performs at the annual "Tribute to Jimi Hendrix" at the Cabooze bar in November.
Before the birth of this band came 3 Below, & Paul Holland & The Supafuzz. Songs from all era’s can be heard at a PHB show, and both CD’s are currently for sale.
The band has been lucky enough to be the opening act for some of blues/rock hottest acts, including: Johnny Winter, John Mayall, Dick Dale, Pat Travers, Lonnie Mack, Jonny Lang, Kim Simmons, Mick Taylor, Tab Benoit, just to name a few.
Paul also has an acoustic duo available with Twin Cities blues legend Moses Oakland. Moses is the host of the weekly blues jam at Famous Daves in Uptown. The jam has been host to a who's who list of local musicians over the years.

The band is busy working on new material for a new CD too. So keep coming out to see us, keep the faith, and we will rock onward and upward.  Love, PH
